ENJOY FILMS, WORKSHOPS AND REGION'S FIRST FILM FORUM AT THE SEVENTH LIBERTAS FIM FESTIVAL!
After six years the Libertas Film Festival & Forum will open in 2011 with a new changed concept. The festival’s seventh edition will take place in Dubrovnik, in the period between April 11 and April 17 in Valamar Hotels and Resorts, LFF’s suorganizer which has been supporting the festival from the very beginning. Moreover, besides the obligatory films, the program is richer by as many as five workshops and a film forum! All visitors, tourists and all film fans, will have opportunity to enjoy in a selection of European films nominated for the Academy Award Oscar; short film program features Switzerland and Kosovo; bonus program will be a selection of Croatia’s short films, special screenings featuring films by the winner of our annual Master Award, and the traditional Focus will be dedicated to Slovakia. In cooperation with the renowned international film and educational organizations, including European Film Promotion, Nisi Masa, Croatian Film Clubs’ Association and Nest Cultural Association, we plan to organize as many as five film workshops: SCREENWRITING WORKSHOP, ANIMATION WORKSHOP, FILM CRITICISM WORKSHOP, ART CINEMA WORKSHOP AND CINEMATOGRAPHY WORKSHOP.

The region's first film forum, which will gather a number of film professionals from Croatia and abroad, will take place as part of this year's Libertas Film Festival, featuring discussions on many current issues in the film industry.
