Mirjana Mia Pecina

Mia started her career in TV production and marketing on Croatian-American Television that she co-founded during her University years in Chicago, while graduating in Marketing and Management. After five years in USA she decided to move back to Europe. During the next three years she worked as an Account Director in the most successful PR agency in Croatia, 'Premisa', with clients such as Microsoft, Siemens Mobile, Nike, Croatian Telecom/Tmobile, and humanitarian project "Let Them Hear", Int'l Assoc. of Business Communicators 2002 world award winner! During her years with 'Premisa' she continued to produce a weekly TV overview show "Kapital". Three years later, she decided to pursue her dream of film production in Los Angeles. Since then Mia has been working in theatrical distribution, marketing and film production for various companies. After four very successful years as the Festival Director for Libertas Film Festival, she is looking forward to its 5th edition in the summer of 2009.
Stjepan Hundic

For the past 17 years, Stjepan has been working as a film journalist (critic, reporter, reviewer, correspondent, editor). He has published three books (interviews with some of the best known international names in the film industry) and is a regular guest at the most important film festivals around the world (Berlin, Cannes, Venice, Sundance, Locarno). He has been a Member of Croatian Society of Film Critics since 1992 and FIPRESCI since 1991. In his recent years Stjepan was an Editor-in-Chief of Total Film (Croatian edition of the well known British film monthly). Stjepan received a personal congratulations note from the Berlin Film Festival on a great 2006 program.
Vanja Vascarac

Vanja is a young Croatian director and producer that graduated film and television at the Savannah College of Art and Design in USA. He wrote and directed a number of shorts, and his film 'Insomniac' was the first Croatian short film, since the independence of Croatia, shown in Cannes Film Festival in the Director's Forthnight Program.

Natasa revealed her love for TV and the media during her student years when working as a journalist at a local TV station, Z1. She successfully edited and presented a lifestyle show ''Zagrebacka spica'' and cooperated in selecting a programmes content on the city TV on the whole. She also cooperated in the outsource production of an IT show ''Novi Milenij'' dedicated to new technologies and IT trends. At the same time, she  assited in operational support in organising Weekend Media Festival, one of the big projects of the leading event management company DA!.  After graduating at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb, Croatia she received an opportunity to assist a Director of Libertas in creating a young and successful film festival.

Ivana Sansević

In 2007 Ivana attained a degree in journalism at the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Political Science. She began her career while still a student by doing activist journalism for a number of independent media in the civil sector (ZaMirZine, H-Alter, Fade In). She has also completed various educational programs concerning engaged video and documentary production. For a number of years Ivana was an active member of the Zagreb-based Volunteer Center, where she coordinated many different projects and began learning about the PR industry. In the period between 2007 and 2009 Ivana worked as the head of the PR department for Zagreb’s Student Center’s cultural program, mostly carrying out promotional activities for the &TD Theatre. At the same time, she provided on occasion the necessary production support to several different cultural projects. Over the past two years Ivana has been working as the PR head for a number of domestic film festivals, including Zagreb Film Festival, ZagrebDox, Animafest, Motovun Film Festival and Human Rights Film Festival, as well as for various theatrical and similar artistic projects.
Marin Rajčić

Marin Rajčić has more than 15 years of experience in web and graphical design. He is the co-owner and director of Demode d.o.o., firm specializing in web and graphical design and partial partner in Median et d.o.o., firm specializing in web development. Prior to establishing Demode, he worked in several leading IT companies (Vodatel, Metronet). Aside from the mentioned, he also co-developed several unique internet-based projects like the first Croatian full-scale web portal for students and the first full-scale web portal for demo musicians. Over the last 10 years, Marin has successfully conceived and realized more than a hundred websites (Zagreb Airport, Coca-Cola, Euroline, HND (Croatian journalists' association), HINA (Croatian News Agency), etc. He also created and realized many marketing campaigns and developed the design for reputable events like Weekend Media Festival (Art Director), Minival, Plavi zub, Dancing in the street...

Petra Tomašegović

Petra Tomašegović works on events and promotion from the earliest student days. She has participated in “Ledo.d.o.o” campaigns. Then she started working for the famous sparkling wine Freixenet, where she is responsible for organizing events. Last 5 years she is actively involved in promoting this brand on the ATP Umag. From the beginning, Petra participated on the Weekend Media Festival, organized by the Agency Peppermint. In year 2010. for the first time she becomes part of the program team, working with Mia Pećina. As a graduate student at two universities, Faculty of Food and Biotechnology and Expert Study of Economics she shows great ambition to acquire new skills. This year she got a chance to be the organizer of the events on newly conceived, fresh Libertas film festival and forum
Maro Drobnić

Maro joined Libertas FF's team in 2006. He is involved with Lero Theatre Company as an amateur actor. Maro is also interested in production.  

Ivo Capurso

Ivo is a young Croatian and a Dubrovnik local. He left Croatia to attend his last two years of High School in California. Ivo attended Fresno Pacific University where he received his B.A. in International Business. After living in Los Angeles for several years, Ivo furthered his interest in movies by working for Warner Brothers. In 2009 he returned to Dubrovnik and has recently joined the Libertas Film Festival team in early 2010. Ivo is also strongly interested in writing/composing movie music which has been his passion since childhood.
